Desription of lesson: Acrobatic partnering (with Jindřich Panský)

Jana and Jindřich focus on contemporary dance and acrobatic gymnastics. Their lessons connect right these two physical branches. They try to bring the power of sports and acrobatics (gymnastic) elements to the Dance world and enrich it with a new dimension. On the other hand, the lectors try various movements like jumps, somersaults, etc. seamlessly combine with dance language.


Jana Ryšlavá dancer, teacher. She studied dance pedagogy at HAMU and SEAD Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, where she studied under the guidance of teachers as Matej Kejžar (SLO), Libby Farr (USA / GER) Milan Kozánek or Joseph Fruček. Recently in her contemporary dance's classes and classes of partnering she intensively works with movement in anatomical contexts, improvisation and upside-down elements.

She worked in the Bodhi Project (AT), where she danced in projects of Vanessa Justice (USA) "We copy the world" and Diego's and Gilles's (NL) "How music sounds". She also took part in a unique project organized by the Austrian presidential offices and Tanzquartier in Vienna Hofburg bewegt . Currently teaches at the Conservatoire of Leoš Janáček in Ostrava and Ostrava's Gymnasium and she works in groups Tri-in-Verse. Among last performances belongs Relief (Katarina Rampáčková), Comma (Dana Palátová), Bon vieux temps (Félix Duméril).
